Hoboya Similan opened in 2004 to specialise in Similan Island dive cruises at dive service Hoboya. There are two admin staff and four exclusive dive guides (PADI/SSI Instructors) who know the sea around Thailand inside out. They'll provide you with total support from advice on hotel and plane ticket bookings to helping you arrange your dive cruise.
We have many different cruise ships from luxury delux boats with splendid facilities for our Similan Islands to Richelieu Rock cruises to simple, standard boats at reasonable prices. We also understand that many different customers visit the Similan Islands, from couples to groups of women, elderly people and energetic students. We don't have our own vessels. Rather, we work with trustworthy cruise ship operators that have been chosen carefully by professionals,so we can provide our customers with the ideal ship according to their schedules and budgets. Almost all our cruise plans include a dive guide with very good language skills, so don't worry if you feel yours aren't very good.
The main way to dive off the Similan Islands is to join a dive cruise but we understand that many of you may be first-timers who are unsure because you're worried about sleeping on a boat or don't feel that your dive skills are good enough. Hoboya also offers one-night two-day cruises so you can see what a dive cruise is like. During the cruise there are also courses if you want to brush up your skills, or private guides if you're worried about inconveniencing others on board. If work is busy and joining three or four nights is difficult, we can offer you the Andaman Short Cruise, which includes diving at Richelieu Rock, or a pick-up service by speed boat where you can join a longer cruise already at sea.
Our goal is for each and every customer to enjoy themselves and go home with a big smile. And of course, we want them to come back again someday. During the cruises, our experienced staff will listen to your requests and show your the underwater world in small groups of max. 4 people (6 when busy). When on board and not diving, the guides will ensure that you're entertained and enjoying yourself. They can help you fill in your logbook, spend time eating with you, talking to you and sometimes enjoying a few drinks with you. All our staff are also good at languages and can help you communicate with the crew or with overseas customers.
