As its name suggests, North Point is on the northern tip of Island 9, the most northerly site in the Similan Islands and at the very top. Huge rocks overlap one another, forming massive walls, channels and swimthroughs.It's a site with dynapic topography and ever-changing scenes. Deeper down are species of shark, dogtooth tuna and decorated gobies in the sand. Among the colonies of branch coral spreading across the shallows are beautiful fairy basslets likeYellowtail fairy basslet Yellowtail fairy basslet. Famous for its underwater topography, and the latter part of the dive here is comfortable and relaxing.Turtles are often spotted in the shallows.

This site has the most turtle sightings in the Similan Islands.The turtle most often seen is the hawksbill but green sea turtles also appear. The easiest way to tell them apart is that a hawksbill's carapace margins are saw-like and it has a sharp, curving beak, while a green sea turtle has a smooth carapace and rounder mouth.
