This is a unique liveaboard trip that is flexible enough to fit almost any holiday schedule. Unlike other scheduled liveaboard trips, two liveaboard vessels stay around the dive sites for the season while speedboats take customers to and from the vessels every day. You can stay on the liveaboard from one night and still dive 7 times. Suitable for divers who have never tried a liveaboard or only have short holidays.
The Similan Short Cruise is a unique, flexible option for your diving holiday, operated by a combination of two large liveaboard vessels M/V Son Boon 3 Son Boon 4 and shuttle speedboats. Unlike the other liveaboard trips, each vessel continuously cruises around the route of Similan Islands - Koh Bon - Koh Tachai - Richelieu Rock during the season, following a one day staggered weekly schedule. Using speedboats to travel between the Similan Islands and the pier on the mainland, customers can embark or disembark every day and save a lot of time travelling. From one night, you can stay on board as long as you like depending on your holiday schedule.
Shuttle speedboats depart at 8:30AM and arrive at M/V Son Boon 3 or M/V Son Boon 4 around 10:00 am. You can dive 4 times on the DAY 1st and another 3 dives on the second day. On Sunday and Saturday you can dive in Koh Bon, a famous site where you can expect giant species such as Manta Rays or Whale Sharks. Similan Short Cruise - dive around the Similan Islands or Koh Bon only. If you want to dive in Koh Tachai or Richelieu Rock, please refer to the Andaman Short Cruise.
*The rates are for one person. *The ratio of dive guide and divers is 1 to 6 at maximum. (average 1 to 4) *M/V Son Boon 3 dives around the Similan every day of the week except Mondays and Thursdays when she goes up to Turin island and Richelieu Rock for the day. Please refer to WEEKLY SCHEDULE for Details. *M/V Son Boon 4 dives around the Similan every day of the week except Wednesdays and Sundays when she goes up to Surin island, Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon for the day. Please refer to WEEKLY SCHEDULE for Details. *Single use cabin is available with additional cost of 80% of Non-Diver rates.

* Please be aware that schedules can change without notice due to weather and other conditions.
* Free transfer area is limited in Patong Beach, Kata Beach, Karon Beach, Bang Niang Beach(Khaolak), Nang thong Beach(Khaolak). Extra transfer fee (Round trip THB 500/Pax,One way THB 300/Pax) might be charged if you stay other area. Please contact us for more details.
* If you need to send the airport after the tour, Please reserve a flight after 21:00.
* To prevent decompression sickness, we strongly recommend that you allow a minimum of 24 hours' surface time between your final dive and Return flight.
* Dive computers are compulsory. Please bring your own or rent one.
* The maximum allowable depth for an Open Water Diver is 18m in line with the PADI agreement. Most dive sites we visit are home to an array of beautiful species at areas deeper than 18m. To fully enjoy the beauty of the Similan Islands, we recommend that you take an Adventure Diver course or more. * The above fuel price has been calculated at THB 30 per litre. If crude oil prices rise sharply in future, we may have to add fuel surcharge. We appreciate your understanding.
