You'll learn the necessary skills and knowledge to dive safely using Nitrox, a nitrogen/oxygen gas mixture with an oxygen concentration that is higher than usual. This will reduce the risk of decompression sickness and allow you to dive safely for longer. This course is particularly recommended on cruises that offer a large number of dives.
Nitrox is a nitrogen/oxygen gas mixture with an oxygen concentration that is higher than oxygen in the air. Because the percentage of nitrogen is reduced, the more oxygen there is, your no-decompression limit underwater can be extended and you can spend a shorter time taking a break above water. Nitrox is ideal for divers who want to spend longer enjoying the underwater environment, carefully observing marine life or taking underwater photos. During the course you'll join a cruise ship with a Nitrox filling station and enjoy diving while learning the merits and dangers of diving with Nitrox, planning your dives using special dive tables and learning how to check oxygen levels. You'll dive twice, using Nitrox.

Enriched Air Nitrox This course is for customers boarding the cruise ships below, which all have Nitrox filling stations. It incorporates different subjects into the dives on offer during the cruise. There is plenty of time during the cruise so you'll be able to take the course at your own pace and have fun while doing it, and because there are a lot of dives per day, you'll really be able to experience the benefits of diving with Nitrox. Even after the course you'll be able to finish your remaining dives with a Nitrox tank and on actual dives put to use the skills you've mastered.
