A limited offer to the Komodo Islands, a World Natural Heritage Site that divers yearn to visit. Enjoy everything from big species like manta rays and sharks to macrolife like pygmy sea horses and the rich ecosystems that surround them. Participate in the Dragon Walk and search for the world's largest lizard, the Komodo Dragon. With single rooms also available, this trip is ideal if you're travelling alone!
This cruise begins in the northern sites with good visibility and relatively high water temperatures. It visits Crystal Rock with submerged rocky reefs and great numbers of coral fish, Batu Bolong where shiny fish like giant trevally congregate in the strong currents and Makassar Reef where rows of manta rays can be spotted if luck is on your side. From Day 3, the tour heads south where water temperatures are lower and marine life differs. On offer are some world-famous dive sites like Cannibal Rock where mimetic macro species like frogfish are crammed together, and Yellow Wall with dense and beautiful soft corals on the drop-offs. On the last day we go ashore at the Komodo Islands for a dragon walk in search of the Komodo Dragon, the world's biggest lizard. This is an extremely satisfactory tour with dives at all popular sites off the Komodo Islands, in world heritage seas.
