West of Eden is on the other side of Island 7 across from East of Eden and known for its dynamic topography of walls and swim-throughs centred around 3 large boulders. The deeper depths are very colourful with beds of soft coral. As well as macrolife like frogfish,decorated gobies and and ribbon eels, a community of hard coral including cauliflower or lace coral grows over the top of the rocks, while bluefin trevally can be seen attacking smaller fish.

This is a relatively new site that opened after the tsunami. Unlike the relaxing site East of Eden behind the island, this site is rocky and dynamic. Enjoy the differences between east and west Eden.
